Spanish Football Team, a Fan Token, and
Blockchain Platform

The Royal Spanish Football Federation reached an agreement with the Turkish blockchain
platform Bitci Technology. As part of the partnership, the country’s national football team will
launch the world’s first national football team token.

The token will launch on Bitcichain and Bitci Technology will also provide all necessary tech infrastructure. It will also become the exclusive blockchain partner of the team during the initial three-year partnership, followed by an optional two-year period.

The partnership also makes the Turkish blockchain platform a jersey logo sponsor of the
country’s national team. Consequently, world-famous football players such as Sergio Ramos,
David de Gea, are going to wear Bitci-branded jerseys during training. The Royal Spanish
Football Federation is willing to embrace cutting-edge technologies. Thanks to new
technologies, it will be easier to connect with fans from all over the world.

The Blockchain platform, football and UFC

Bitci Technology knows how to work with various organizations, as in the past it partnered with
the Formula 1 team. Apart from McLaren Racing it worked with the national football team of its
country to launch fan tokens. It also cooperated with the European football club Rangers. The
partnership between Bitci Technology and Rangers will run until the end of the 2022-2023
season.

Football teams such as FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Juventus also embraced fan
tokens. Last year, Binance listed PSG as well as JUVE sports fan tokens associated with the
Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. In just one day, both tokens jumped by 80% and 160%
respectively.

Moreover, this month, the world’s premier mixed martial arts league, the UFC decided to launch
its fan token. It partnered with Socios to launch fan tokens on the Chiliz platform. UFC has more
than 600 million fans around the world, and fan tokens offer a unique way to connect with them.
