Megan Thee Stallion Teaches Bitcoin Basics to “Hotties”

Celebrities and influences are keen to work on promoting cryptocurrencies recently.

A few days ago, the award-winning hip-hop artist Megan Thee Stallion, also known as Hot Girl Meg, released a video “Bitcoin for Hotties”. In the video, she explains the basics of Bitcoin, including what it is, why it has value, and how to get it.

Megan Thee Stallion is one of the super-famous celebrities today. She counts over 24.1 million followers on Instagram and 6.4 million followers on Twitter.

She has received multiple honours, including three Grammy Awards.  The rapper became the second female hip-hop artist to win the Best Newcomer Award At the 63rd Grammy Awards.

Additionally, Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people of the year in the world in 2020.

 

Megan Thee-fans’ new financial advisor?

Megan Thee Stallion had previously started a collaboration with Square’s Cash App. Connecting to the Cash App, Megan released two financial education videos. The videos give beginners a better understanding of what is happening in the digital currency world.

In a two-minute video, she explained, that Bitcoin is a new digital currency that has received a lot of hype. Bitcoin is a new type of currency. Megan adds that although the cash in your wallet is issued and regulated by the government, Bitcoin is a virtual currency, and like a wild horse, no one can control it.

She introduced beginners to how the cryptocurrency market works and even released a second video called “Investing for hotties” to further explain to the public the importance of investing in the stock market and some basic understanding.

In December of last year, Megan and Cash App gave away 1 million bitcoins. Just last month, Megan and Cash App also gave away $1 million in stock before and after the release of her single “Thot Sh*t”.

It seems Megan Thee Stallion might become the spokesperson of modern investment, perhaps one of the only rappers to do so.

However, it is suitable for an era when everyone can use tools to make their portfolio a powerful financial asset.
