Exness Donates Ventilators for ICU

Forex company Exness has donated 19 ventilators worth over half a million euros, said Okypy on Tuesday. Okypy is a state health services organization that runs hospitals while Exness is a Limassol-based financial services company.

The new intensive care unit of the Nicosia hospital will use the nineteen new ventilators, worth €568,476 in total. The general hospital will be up and running next month.

The company also recently donated key diagnostic equipment to the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. This was in aid of the grueling battle against COVID-19 on their island.

In a written statement, Okypy said Exness offers its support for the difficult task of dealing with the virus. It is supporting the work of public hospitals. These hospitals have the big task of dealing with COVID-19 cases in their country.

For this, the organization also extended its gratitude to the company for its donation.

The donation includes the delivery of ventilators from both Asia and Europe. Most have already arrived in Cyprus, and they expect the rest to arrive next week.

These include mobile ventilators appropriate for both emergencies during the transportation of the patient and for the ICU. Also included are state-of-the art ventilators designed especially for the ICU. All ventilators will be delivered to Nicosia General Hospital and will then be distributed accordingly.

Exness CEO Petr Valov said that the availability of ventilators is the key to saving more lives. He is glad they’ve managed to order and actually deliver most of these 19 ventilators to Cyprus. They have been working in such terrible conditions of a global shortage, such medical equipment gives hope of saving some lives.

It has pledged up to 1,000,000 euro financial aid to the Covid-19 cause in Cyprus. This is in the form of donations to key funds, medical bodies, and the public health sector.
