Teasing fans with images on Weibo, the company has announced that the device will be available in three striking colours: elegant white, sleek black, and a vibrant green that’s sure to turn heads. A notable design tweak from its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, is the relocation of the Alert Slider. This fan-favourite feature, allowing users to switch between mute, vibrate effortlessly, and ringer sound profiles, now finds its place on the left side of the phone.

Moreover, OnePlus has shared that the Alert Slider’s shift is not just a cosmetic change. The company decided to relocate it to make room for a new integrated antenna. The latter will boost signal performance and reduce latency for game streaming enthusiasts. According to the company, internal testing showed that the best position for gaming antennas is between the user’s forefingers when they hold the smartphone in landscape orientation.
