Faurecia Visualizes Transaction and Revenues in 2022

On Tuesday, French automotive parts manufacturer Faurecia indicated it was pursuing record sales, profits, and cash generation in 2022. This was after the firm had better outcomes of its strategic program.

Moreover, the lift came from acquisition on its Japanese company Clarion.

Peugeot-maker PSA maintains 46 percent of Faurecia. On the other side, there is an anticipated annual average sales development of above 5 percent between 2019-2022.

Currently, there is a projection of sales surging above 20.5 billion euros ($22.60 billion) in 2022.

In addition, its operating margin must climb to 8 percent in 2022. The hike is versus its goal of a 7 percent margin in 2019.

Faurecia chief executive Patrick Koller stated, “Our new Business Group, Faurecia Clarion Electronics, is an enabler for the Cockpit of the Future and has a robust roadmap for profitable growth.”

Furthermore, he added, “At the same time, our investment in Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles will accelerate our Zero Emissions strategy and allow us to benefit from rapid powertrain electrification.”

“In 2022, we will see record sales, profitability and cash generation. From a longer-term perspective, we are preparing for the next major disruption and target carbon neutrality by 2030,” Koller said.

Faurecia and Michelin Ratifies Future Joint Project

Elsewhere, Michelin, the world front-runner in tires and sustainable mobility, collaborates with Faurecia, a leading technology firm in the automotive industry.

The two companies have validated the formation of Symbio. It is a Faurecia Michelin hydrogen company.

Moreover, it is a joint endeavor merging all their hydrogen fuel cell contributed activities, intending to become a world leader in hydrogen mobility.

Thus, electric mobility demand would surge significantly between now and 2030.

It is the only zero-emission explanation that complements battery-powered electric cars. Moreover, hydrogen technology is vital in accelerating the implementation of electromobility and addressing its three significant challenges.

The three major obstacles are improving air condition, decreasing CO2 emissions, and the energy transition.

Michelin with Faurecia interrelating makes it feasible to offer a complete range of hydrogen fuel cell systems. For instance, this is by covering all types of mobility uses.

Meanwhile, Faurecia is providing its technological hydrogen mobility capability and the results of R&D work carried out with the CEA (the French Atomic Energy Commission).

Michelin, for its part, is supporting the know-how of its subsidiary Symbio. It is an equipment builder distributing hydrogen fuel cell kits as well as a range of services and design and fabrication activities.
