Japanese broker Kabu and its monthly report

Japanese broker Kabu released its monthly business data on Tuesday. It is important to note that the company experienced problems due to weak performance during the previous two months. For example, in June company’s performance was from being ideal. The over-the-counter (OTC) month foreign exchange (Forex) trading value decreased by 13.1%. It means that OTC fell from 19.9 trillion Japanese Yen to 17.3 trillion or $159.8 billion.

This was the only problem for the securities broker. The futures monthly trading volume also decreased in June in comparison with May. In June, the total value was 24.4 trillion Japanese Yen. However, during May the total value was higher as it reached 28.6 trillion Japanese Yen. Another interesting fact is that the futures monthly trading volume was the highest during the first six months.

Another for the broker was that the number of new accounts fell in June. For instance, in May the number of new accounts were higher by 105 accounts. In June, the number of new accounts was 2,761.

The monthly share turnover for Kabu also experienced problems. The monthly turnover fell by 1.5 trillion Yen from 16 trillion to 14.5 trillion in June.

August’s report

Hopefully, for the Kabu last month of the summer was more productive. The number of securities accounts rose by 2,164 and reached 1,128,678 in total. Another good news for the broker is that number of new accounts also increased by 63 to 2,716.

The over-the-counter (OTC) monthly forex trading value is also on the rise. Its monthly results increased to 2.64 trillion Yen or $24.84 billion. For example, the trading value in July was 1.66 trillion. It means that trading value rose by 975.20 billion Yen or 58.7%.

The futures monthly trading value is another good news, as futures trading value rose by 64.6%. In July this result was 2.19 trillion Yen whereas in August it increased to 3.61 trillion yen.

Japanese broker Kabu’s monthly report surpassed the results from the first two months of summer 2019.
