However, every difficulty has a hopeful aspect, though! Just like there is a guarantee of a Legendary cosmetic for every thirty Apex Crates opened, your Heirloom Set can drop one time in 500. That means you can receive it on the first or 500th crate. When 500 crates are opened in total, you will definitely get an Heirloom Set. And in the case that in the game you possess all of the sets, this will no longer apply as duplicates cannot be earned in Apex Legends.

Since a Crate costs 100 Apex Coins and you can buy 1000 Apex Coins at the price of £8, a Crate is 80p worth. Multiplying this figure by 500, you can’t guarantee a set of heirlooms for every 400 pounds you spend.

Currencies in Apex Legends

There are three sorts of currencies in Apex Legends: Crafting metals, Apex Coins, and Legendary Tokens, which unlock new legends, skins, or other cosmetics.

• Apex Coins

Apex Coins are paid currency in EA’s Battle Royale and cannot be obtained in any other way.

There’s less than a 1% chance of getting these shards each time you open a standard Apex Pack, though the player has a guarantee to get 150 Heirloom Shards for every 500 packs.

So the player can remove the need for luck by purchasing 500 Apex Packs, which would cost $500 at 1000 Apex Coins per pack. Players who have all heirlooms available cannot get more shards until a new heirloom is available.
