TradeZero Allows Selecting Order Routes

Traders who maintain a TradeZero America account balance of $30,000 can now select specific destinations for executions. This allows lowering trading costs in the New York-based online broker dealer’s features with both speed and accuracy.

Naturally, it requires traders to familiarize themselves with routing destinations and various trading and order handling rules of each route.

Some orders require paying associated transaction costs, but most orders result in rebates. It will pass the rebate along to the investor, which could offset per share cost.

With a “smart order routing” feature, the service scans competing markets and liquidity providers going directly to the best venues.

The move raises brows from regulators who required order-by-order reviews to ensure the best prices and trade-execution speeds.

Not only that, TradeZero will offer this service with zero fees for eligible traders.

It will also offer clients easier access to hard-to-borrow shares through a patent-pending feature built only into its platforms. This allows its investors to sell shares to other traders without high fees or to enroll in special programs.

Previously on TradeZero

TradeZero recently teamed up with Bitcoin entrepreneur Jered Kenna to create a dark pool exchange for the cryptocurrency. This allows the company’s clients to buy or sell bitcoin without substantially moving its market price.

Currently, these appeals to those who are willing to commit to building their portfolios with bitcoin. Because of this, the option has a minimum opening balance of $10,000 or equivalent currency.

Kenna first introduced the feature in 2011 with his first bitcoin exchange, Tradehill, which ended operations in 2013.

Despite heightened global uncertainty and high P/E ratios, investors can still diversify from the stock market, said Kenna. The enabler is a great enabler in investors to trade in bitcoin without much market risk.

TradeZero is a global platform that allows commission-free stock and ETF trading, along with trading equity and index options.
