The information was according to Hanne Knudsen, Telenor Vice President for communications.

In response to some written questions, Knudsen stated, “Ericsson has been introduced as a new vendor for 5G RAN, but we will also work with Huawei both to maintain the 4G network and also upgrade to 5G coverage in selected areas of Norway.”

She also said, “Huawei has delivered hardware for RAN, but not for the core network. When they build 5G in selected areas for the modernization, this is also for RAN, not core.”

The recent order did not resolve the case, which includes Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.

In a phone call, Sharif Bhuiyan, a lawyer, indicates that the company is pursuing 125.8 billion takas. It is in pursuance from the unit, Grameenphone Ltd.

Moreover, a panel of judges questioned the industry regulator to abstain from issuing demands to the telecom operator.
