Scott Guilty of Helping Launder $400M

A Manhattan federal jury has found lawyer Mark. S. Scott guilty of assisting OneCoin’s co-founder and current fugitive Ruja Ignatova. According to a report, they have laundered as much as $400 million.

Furthermore, the Manhattan jury, which consists of six women and six men, decided to pass on a guilty verdict to Scott.

He was a former partner at a law firm Locke Lord. And now, they suspect him of receiving $50 million to launder $400 million for the cryptoqueen, Ignatova.

The jury did not believe any claims of Scott about him having no knowledge that OneCoin was a scam. Also, he keeps insisting that he was only doing his best as Ignatova’s lawyer to represent her interest.

In addition to that, Konstantin Ignatov, Ignatova’s brother and co-founder pf crypto scam OneCoin also testified in the trial against Scott.

According to a report, he gave more information against his sister, stating that she gained a passport and tickets to Austria and Greece from her home in Bulgaria. But until now, the cryptoqueen is still at large.
