Possible Collaborations for Elon Musk’s Tesla and SpaceX

The technology industry is buzzing again. This time, speculations about the mad genius, Elon Musk and his two beloved companies are catching headlines.

Musk is currently the Chief Executive Officer of both Tesla and SpaceX, which are two totally different companies. Tesla is a giant in the electronic car industry and is a force in the stock market even despite the ongoing pandemic.

The company has garnered the attention of the media, consumers, and investors thanks to Musk’s bold tactic. The company recently reduced the prices of some of their vehicles to cope with the faltering demand for new automotive vehicles.

According to technology news reports, Elon Musk’s Tesla has slashed Model X and S unit price in mainland China. Meanwhile, the California based tech company also reduced the prices of its Model 3, X, and S in both the United States and Europe.

However, experts say that the company’s long-term outlook is not looking as pretty as it wants it to be. Some critics even say that the company is very much overrated in the stock market.

On the other hand, SpaceX, a privately owned company is breaking commercial success. Just last week, Aerospace company has launched two NASA astronauts in space.

SpaceX sent the two Americans in a space shuttle using its Crew Dragon capsule. In spite of this buzz, the company actually costing Elon Musk some of its fortune.

The privately owned company is burning cash every time it launches into space. And this news has raised speculations of a probable collaboration of the two.

The Future of Travel

Some experts wonder if Elon Musk would have an initial public offering for its SpaceX to generate funds. This may sound convincing but other technology experts say otherwise.

Thanks to modern technology, electronic vehicles that were once blueprints are now common. And in the past, the billionaire CEO has expressed interest in flying automotive vehicles.

Fans and spectators wonder whether Elon Musk would extend a collaboration between the two companies to build flying cars. This comes after some of Musk’s 2017 tweets resurfaced following SpaceX’s launch last week.

According to Musk, the next gen Roadster could have the upgrades. Although the famous unit is already surpassed by newer ones such as the Model 3.

Still, in his 2017 tweet, Musk said that its “certainly possible”.

The commercial success of the aerospace company and the stock market prowess of Tesla could mean big business. One thing still stands in that way, the ongoing pandemic that could slow down the creation of Musk’s visions.

The question now is, are flying cars the future of transportation?
