Oil Prices Climb as A Result of Data on U.S. Oil Stockpiles

On Thursday, oil prices increased. Robust U.S. fuel consumption data and predicted drops in Russian supplies later this year are mitigated concerns about a probable recession in developed economies undermining demand.

Prices gained more than 1% in the previous session. However, Brent plummeted to its lowest level since February at one point, as signals of a slowdown grew in some locations.

Brent crude futures rose $1.25 per barrel, or 1.3%, to $93.82 per barrel.

Crude oil futures in the United States rose 92 cents, or 1.2%, to $87.04 per barrel.
