Issue About CVS Refusing To Accept Puerto Rican Driver’s License

Elsewhere, CVS has apologized after this circumstance. This was when an employee falsely declined to accept a college student’s Puerto Rican driver’s license.

The episode happened in West Lafayette, Indiana. In addition, the student tried to buy cold medicine in late October 2019.

The incident has prompted a cumulative internet disgrace that became national news.

In a sentimental Facebook post that went viral, the student’s mother got emotional and angered.

She stated, “For those of you who don’t know, we are a United States Territory.” She is Arlene Payano Burgos. The statement was written due to frustration on October 25, 2019.

In addition, “Everyone born in Puerto Rico is born a United States Citizen. Puerto Rican men and women have served in every major war that the United States has fought in, including the American Revolution.”

Lastly, “Puerto Rican soldiers have served and died fighting for ‘The great American nation.’”
