Bush Got 300k For Meeting OneCoin Co-Founder

Allegedly, Neil Bush, the brother of former President George W. Bush, has received $300,000 in exchange for attending a meeting. This involves OneCoin co-founder and current fugitive Ruja Ignatova, dubbed as the Cryptoqueen.

In addition to that, OneCoin is part of the crypto industry’s most infamous alleged exit scams. Then, founded in 2014, the Bulgaria-based firm is still fully operational to date despite allegations it faces. Investigators believe that the firm raised 4 billion euro or $4.4 billion in a Ponzi scheme.

Cryptoqueen Ignatova is the sister of OneCoin co-founder Konstantin Ignatov. He was the one who signed a guilty plea in relation to the alleged fraud on October 4 and now faces up to 90 years of imprisonment.

Even though Ignatova has been indicted on charges of money laundering and fraud, she is still on the run.

In a report on November 15, a testimony in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York carried allegations about Neil Bush, son of late President George H.W. Bush.

Moreover, former Lock Lorde LLP attorney Mark Scott is currently facing a trial for allegedly co-operating with Ignatova and her brother on OneCoin. He insists that he thought the scheme was legal.

Businessman Neil Bush goes in an interview with the FBI because of his role as a board member of Holfu Energy. The wealthy Chinese business Dr. Hui Chi Ming owns the firm.

 

Bitcoin Below the $8,200 Threshold

 

Meanwhile, crypto markets further fell, with Bitcoin (BTC) shortly declining under the $8,200 threshold.

Aside from that, 19 out of the 20 coins by market cap are showing significant losses. Texos (XTZ), the 17th altcoin, is resisting the bearish movement. It is still trading up about 1%.

Previously, Bitcoin failed to reclaim its $8,500 price mark. After that, its price has continued to go down, dropping to as low as $8,104 per coin.

Also, Bitcoin tried a modest recovery and is recently trading at $8,215. It is down by 4%. Over the past 30 days, the major cryptocurrency is nearly flat. In the past seven days, Bitcoin, showed a significant drop, down by over 5%.
