Binance DEX to List Token Pegged on BCH

Changpeng Zhao, aka CZ and founder of major cryptocurrency Binance, proposed to Binance DEX to list a token pegged Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Binance DEX is the platform’s decentralized counterpart.

In the published post in the official Token Issuance & Listings section of Binance, CZ asked to list BCH-1FD, a pegged token which tracks the value of the native asset of the Bitcoin Cash. It stated, “BCH-1FD aims to provide a token pegged to BCH value for trading on Binance DEX.”

Back in 2017, the Bitcoin community divided into two. And those are the BTC and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). BCH serves as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system.

Aside from that, they are also discussing the BCH-1FD’s size and if some contributors are also part of other crypto projects. CZ stated that Binance would give conversion between BCH and BCH-1FD via a deposit/withdraw. He even concluded that there was only a little development work in the token or any possible conflict of interest.

Bitcoin and Other Cryptos

Meanwhile, Bitcoin is lingering just above the $8,000 price mark. On the other hand, XRP displays its notable gains. Moreover, the world’s largest cryptocurrency has been trading within a tight range between $8,000 to $8,100. BTC traded from an intraday low of about $8,010 up to $8,135. After that, it reached its current price of $8,062, which shows a slight gain of around 1%.

In a report, the notorious skeptic Nouriel Roubini finally conceded to stating that Bitcoin is a partial store of value. But his comment was quickly followed by further criticisms. Roubini said about Bitcoin, “In spite of its rally earlier this year, it’s lost 60% in value since its peak. So, I don’t see it going anywhere frankly.”

Then, Ether is currently still at $176 per coin. The number one altcoin has been trading somewhat flat for the most part of the day. At the same time, it slowly crawls to its current trading price, up just above 1%.
